FAITH FORMATION FOR CHILDREN

We welcome children in worship, and have a supply of bins stocked with toys and books for children to bring to the pews with them.  Care and activities are also provided for young children each Sunday during worship in our Children's Corner in the vestry.  We will offer church school for older children beginning September 10, 2023.

In the 2023-2024 school year, we are delighted to offer an after-school program — The Fruits of the Spirit -- for children in grades K and up, Wednesdays from 2:15 to 3:30 beginning September 6.  With music, story, and activities, we will explore the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).  Contact Pastor Andi (andi@tcpoc.org) for more information!

Faith Formation for adults

Faith formation is a lifetime process - and a journey that we walk together.  TCP offers regular opportunities to gather outside of worship and explore our faith.

September-October: weekly contemplative prayer based on the book of creation by john philip newell

Join Pastor Andi on Thursday mornings from 8:00 to 8:30 AM from September 7 through October 19 for a time of contemplative prayer and meditation.  We will draw from the exercises in John Philip Newell's book The Book of Creation.  We will meet in the TCP garden, weather permitting - and will meet inside the sanctuary when weather chooses not to permit.  These practices will accompany our observance of September as the Season of Creation - a time to celebrate this very good earth and explore our vocation to steward it with love and care.
